David’s passion is helping his clients achieve their dreams in triathlon by offering training plans, consulting and education.
As an athlete, David Glover has successfully completed 28 IRONMAN®-distance races (8:51 PR) including competing in the IRONMAN® Hawaii World Championship and winning Vineman overall (twice). In 2007, he was selected for the Vineman Hall of Fame and his face appears on the back of all the finisher’s medals from that year. Overall, he has competed in more than 100 triathlons.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and former Navy nuclear submarine officer, David has a Master of Science (MS) in Exercise Physiology from Eastern Michigan University and an MS in Engineering Management from Catholic University. He is currently working on a PhD in East-West Psychology at California Institute of Integral Studies.
David’s certifications and training include: IRONMAN® Certified Coach, Precision Nutrition Level I (Pn1), NSCA CSCS.
In addition to numerous articles he’s written, David wrote and published "Full Time & Sub-Nine: Fitting Iron Distance Training into Everyday Life," a book about his experiences at the Naval Academy, surviving cancer and his rise from age grouper to an elite level triathlete finishing an IRONMAN®-distance race in under 9 hours – all while working a full time 9-to-5 job.
